Jackson Hole

This past weekend Kyle and I got to go to one of my favorite places, Jackson Hole. We went with my family. I have been going there almost every year since I was a little girl. Kyle had never been so I was really excited for him to go there and experience the wonders of Jackson Hole himself. The drive there is so pretty. It is one of my favorite drives. On the drive there, there is a place that we always stop at, the Cheese Factory. You can't go to the Cheese Factory without buying cheese.

While we were there we stayed at the Painted Buffalo. After getting settled into the hotel, we went into town and shopped a little bit, then we had dinner at Mountain High Pizza Pie.

After dinner, we all went swimming and sat in the sauna. I didn't get any pictures of that though. I didn't feel like bringing my camera to the pool, but we had a good time. I love swimming and so does Kyle. I sometimes think he is part fish. The next day Kyle, Taylor, Shon, McKenna, and I went out to breakfast together at a place called Nora's. The food there is great but the service is awful. We go there everytime we go to Jackson Hole. You would think we would find somewhere else to go to eat since the service is so horrible, but the food is too good to pass up.

The highlight of that day though was that evening. Every time we go to Jackson Hole we go to this thing called the Bar J Wranglers. Its basically dinner and a concert. My family and I have been going there for as long as I can remember. It wouldn't be a trip to Jackson without going to the Bar J. You have to know my dad in order to understand why it is so important for us to go to this place. My dad hates going to Lagoon, Disneyland, Walmart, anything that has lines in it. He hates waiting in line. But there is one thing he will wait in line for and that is The Bar J Wranglers. The show doesn't start until 5:30 but my dad will get there at 8:00 am and wait in line all day long so that we will have front row seats. I have never gone to that show without sitting up front. I always feel bad having him sit there all day all by himself but it is so worth it and I think it gives him a sense of satisfaction by sitting there all day and getting us front row tickets. He is a big sweetheart. I love my dad.

It was a short trip but certainly needed. Kyle and I have finals to look forward to this week and then we are done with school for a few weeks. We had such a good time with my family. We always have a great time when we are with them. Thanks mom and dad for a great time. We love you!

Here are some other pictures from the trip......
