Yes Kyle and I are alive and well! In fact, we are doing great. I have tried more than once to update our blog but something always happens. I spent atleast an hour on this thing trying to compose a nice update for all of you to read and I literally stepped away from the computer for a second and in that split second Kyle had closed the computer and I had lost all of my hard work. So after a few days I decided to attempt this once again and typed up our update and when I finished, I went to save it and post it and due to my luck and inadequate abilities with computers I had once again lost my post. So this is my third attempt so lets hope that the third time is a charm.
So Kyle and I have been married for four months now and are loving the married life. Our wedding day was amazing. I can't explain the feelings I felt that day. The only word that comes sort of close to how I felt that day is JOY!!!! I wish I could re-live that day over and over again. Since Kyle and I have been married we have learned a lot and have had fun doing so. We learned that anesthia makes me nauseated and an emotional wreck. Kyle is afraid of pee. I am really good at making quesadillas. Kyle can't sleep unless the room is pitch black, he uses my pink eye mask at night so that he can sleep. We have learned much more about each other and have lots more to learn and a lot of time to do it.
When Kyle and I had first gotten married, we lived with my uncle in his basement which was fine but it never felt like Kyle and I had a place of our own. We couldn't be newlyweds. So after 3 months of trying to make an impossible situation work, we decided to find a place of our own. We ended up finding an amazing apartment right in the heart of Salt Lake. We are living at the apartments on top of the Gateway. It has been so much fun. We still are pinching ourselves to make sure that we really do live there and its not just a dream.
Kyle and I are both going to school and are both working. Kyle works at LDS hospital in the materials department and I work at the IMC hospital in the icu. We are both planning on going into the medical field. I am working on getting my nursing degree and Kyle is planning on becoming a CRNA. We have a ways to go unitl we are completely done with school but we know it will be worth it in the end. Sorry for this long and boring post but it was time I updated this thing. Thanks to those who took the time to read this. Until next time! Peace Out
